This is a family I know and this afternoon they LET me take thier pics. It was such a learning experience for me as a photographer, and I hope they like some of them as well. :)
Thanks so much you guys for letting me shoot you! You will go down as my 1st official "gig" with my camera!

#1. great composition it looks a little OOF to me though
#2. Great expressions. Mom's hand looks a little mysterious. coloring looks good. When the family is facing to YOUR right, to be technically corect, you should have any negative space on the RIGHT of the photo...make sense?
#3 Great idea. Again, I can't tell but I think it is a little OOF. Have you practices with a doll or toy with focus? It really helped me. Remember the rule of thirds (they might look better if they were a little higher in the frame.
#4. Think in trianges. Try to make all of their heads make imaginary triangles. Put the dad in the space in the center. It would balance the whole thing.
